The barrier protectors attach to the rails using eight loop fasteners (four per piece). They protect against impacts against the bars and prevent the patient from getting a limb caught in them. The dense, compacted silicone fibers provide maximum impact protection.
 Two measures.
 The PU covering is surface washable by sponging with disinfectant solution.
