The straps hold the patient's ankles, allowing for some freedom of movement. When used with the connecting strap (Ref: RFS17NYL), any leg movement is made impossible. When immobilizing the ankles, it is essential to ensure that the patient is securely held at the waist and/or wrists. They offer two levels of security: a Velcro closure system and a locking system. The straps can be equipped with a magnetic (M) or mechanical (RL) locking kit.
